The Supplement Facts panel must list the serving size and number of servings per container, declare each dietary ingredient in the product, and except for dietary ingredients that are part of a proprietary blend, provide information on the amount of the dietary ingredient per serving.
Products sold as dietary supplements come with a Supplement Facts label that lists the active ingredients, the amount per serving (dose), and other ingredients, such as fillers, binders, and flavorings.
Claims and the star
Why "Natural Prostate Support" carries a star
The front of the bottle says "Natural Prostate Support" and marks it with a star. The star points to a boxed sentence on the side panel, the Food and Drug Administration disclaimer.
Regulators call a statement about how a supplement affects the body a structure/function claim. The agency does not approve these claims in advance, and the label must say so.
"Natural Prostate Support"
"These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease."
If a dietary supplement label includes such a claim, it must state in a "disclaimer" that FDA has not evaluated the claim.
These three types of claims are not pre-approved by FDA, but the manufacturer must have substantiation that the claim is truthful and not misleading and must submit a notification with the text of the claim to FDA no later than 30 days after marketing the dietary supplement with the claim.

Product page
What the product page adds to the label
The product page repeats the ingredient list and adds a line about manufacture. It describes each bottle as "made in a GMP-certified facility in New York and is tested to be vegan and gluten-free".
GMP stands for good manufacturing practice. Federal rules require it of every supplement maker, so the phrase describes a legal duty more than a prize.
In addition, FDA's regulations require those who manufacture, package, or hold dietary supplements to follow current good manufacturing practices that help ensure the identity, purity, quality, strength, and composition of dietary supplements.
Under DSHEA, FDA does not have the authority to approve dietary supplements before they are marketed.
